Expedia's website does have a section devoted to today's top deals.  These deals are a combination of travel specials, late booking offers and other types of specials.  Visitors to the site can find this section under the reservation box on the website's opening page.  These deals often change so they may not be there several days later. more

Really anytime, but 24 hours in advance at least.  Best is several months in advance.  If Expedia has a ticket available, and you can make it, you can buy it even at the last minute.  In fact, they may be a better choice for last minute tickets than going directly to the carrier. more

Expedia does not ffer a low fare guarantee for customers. What they do have is a section that provides great deals on certain trips or hotels. There are options to choose from among the day's best flight deals, best package deals, and the day's top deals.
